SPENDING a month on work experience with the UK’s top letting agency was a clever move said German intern Ramona Zoschingen.

The 18-year-old, from Heidenheim an der Brenz, comes from a town in southern Germany near the Bavaria border.

Miss Zoschingen spent four weeks working for North Hill-based Clever Student Lets, who recently won the Sunday Times Best Student Lettings Agency of the Year Award in London.

As part of a German group studying in Plymouth, Miss Zoschingen was in the city under the European Union’s flagship Erasmus+ programme, and on work experience from Mutley Plain-based Tellus College, who said her work experience proved invaluable for her CV

prospects.

“The team at Clever Student Lets were very friendly and I enjoyed getting stuck in working with students from across the world looking for student accommodation around the centre of Plymouth.”

“I did a lot of marketing, sales, administration, and innovative sales packs for customers that were quirky and fun.”

“When I go back to Germany I’m looking to do a three-year apprenticeship in business administration and carry on with my further education.”

“My time in Plymouth at Tellus College and Clever Student Lets was for me very good, and it certainly helped with my English language skills,” said Miss Zoschingen.
