Face painting was organised by Marilyn Grose
NEARLY 1,500 students from across Plymouth turned out for a FREE promotional event organised by #cleverstudentlets #comeonyougreens with many students attending a Home Park game for the first time, said James Deacon, sales and marketing manager at Clever Student Lets.
Mr Deacon, said: “CSL and the team at Plymouth Argyle were hoping to hit the 500 point. We were staggered when our printing run for tickets hit the 1,500 mark. It was amazing to see so many of our tenants from all of the city’s higher education institutions turn up.”
Henry Hutchins, the chief executive of Clever Student Lets, said: “Special thanks to James Greenacre at Plymouth Argyle for all their help, and to Marilyn Grose for the face painting and getting the students into that football mood.”
“But also to my ⚽️ sales team at CSL for their hard work and dedication in making the event such a success. But once again, highlighting the successful partnerships of city businesses working together – to promote the very best that Plymouth can offer,” said Mr Hutchins.
Argyle manager, Derek Adams, said: “There was a noticeably brilliant atmosphere at Home Park on Tuesday, to which the students fully contributed.
“The players really appreciate the support they get from the local community and the students of Plymouth are a vital part of that community.
“We hope that they enjoyed the game.”
Thank you to everyone who donated at the game.
